Horrid Young and Lois Elizabeth Teters of McKinley wed August 21. Lester Johnson and Lucile Johnson of Empire received a license on August 22. Albert John Wells of Marshfield and Gladva Ferl Baxter of Tenmile were issued a license on August 26.
Miss Helen Meredith Gill and Vivian Milton Schroeder will wed at 11 oclock today at the bride’s home in Myrtle Point. Rev C Cronk will officiate with Miss Anita Gut as bridesmaid and Edward Bender as best man. After the ceremony, guests will be served and the couple will honeymoon at Oregon Caves and Crater Lake before returning to McKinley.
Eastern Coast Lions approve 7500 500 and 250 prizes for best decorated windows during Fair week in Myrtle Point. Mr and Mrs E C Barker received a telegram Monday from their son Cecil, a delegate from the Phi Sigma Kappa house to the national convention at Ithaca New York.
