County Fair's Early Days Told Through 1912 Stock List
The July 11 1912 stock subscription ledger shows Myrtle Point and Coos County figures paying 25 a share for about 340 shares to launch the enterprise. Minutes note building, electric lights, water, fencing, race purses, and breed improvement as the fair evolved amid the space age.
