Captain Earle L Oshborns of Myrtle Point Oregon receives the Air Medal for meritorious achievement in aerial flight while taking part in sustained operations in Italy with a heavy bombardment unit. Mary Thompson Dies in San Francisco After Operation
Mary Thompson died in San Francisco July 30 after an operation. She formerly lived in this area about fifteen years and worked on the nursing staff at the Mast hospital. She was born February 19 1688 in Eugene Oregon and is survived by daughter Ethel DeJesus of San Francisco and several siblings. Interment will be in the Inman family plot at Eluaira Oregon.
