Mrs Ellen Angel was missing since Monday from her Myrtle Point residence. A community search near Grover Gibbs located her on Friday morning in rough terrain. Gibbs sheltered her with his coat and alerted authorities, avoiding publicity while guiding her home with Miss Effie Summers.

Four Injured in Saturday Night Myrtle Auto Crash
On Gravelford road a late Saturday crash injured four Zamwait children as Davitedf lost control on a curve and the car struck a post. Catherine, 18, suffered facial and neck cuts. Melvin, 10, had a chest injury but is recovering. Chester Zwawalt, and others were treated. all but Chester left hospital shortly after. two were released home.

The Curry County Dairymen's association announces the annual Dairy men's picnic will be Sunday August 7 at Ploras Creek Bridge park near Langlois. 4-H dairy project exhibits and demonstrations will occur. Aged Farmer Dies Aug 3 At Home
William A Tennant 75 died at his home on the Myrtle Point Coquille highway about six miles from Myrtle Point. Born June 13 1883 in Dodge County Wisconsin he had lived in Oregon for years. He leaves a wife and ten children in Coquille Dundee Smith River California and Myrtle Point. Funeral services will be held Friday at the Myrtle Point Chapel with burial in the Jerway Somers Cemetery.
