The Junior Woman's Club pledged 25 dollars to the city park project at a meeting held at Mrs. Eugene Laird's home on April 23. The program featured painters Rousseau Van Gogh and Gaugin, weaving history, and a weaving demonstration. May 14 plans include a hike and picnic, May 21 is final club meeting with officer elections, and a gym class meets Mondays at 7 20 at the Junior High School for any interested person.

Belle Whitaker spent Sunday and Monday with James Whitaker Marshfield and visited friends in Lakeside. Mrs A M Mullin, visiting relatives, will return home to Honolulu Sunday. K H Hansen will accompany her to San Francisco. Mrs L A LaFlamme had tonsillitis earlier in the week. Mrs Elton Schroeder and Mrs Eugene Laird attended Junior Womans club in Coquille. Belle Waterker spoke on China. James Albee were dinner guests of Dr and Mrs R H 4Sfast. Lois Ray and Nora Eckley expected home from Portland. Fordyce Worsham Cecil Beyer Sunset Bay guests. Katherine Ellison and Ray Cowdray of Mashfield joined Herman Sanford family. Grandmother Dice: C L Church learned of death of L G Walker, Centerbury Ohio, aged 87, married 67 years.
