Pioneer Day Celebrated by Local Woman’s Club

The Woman’s Club hosted a Pioneer Day at the Presbyterian church parlor. About 60 attendees, 26 pioneers over 65, wore corsages and lapel pins as they registered. Range Operators Applications Must Be Filed By May 1

Operators of range land in Coos county must file by May 1 at the county agent's office to receive 1937 payments for reseeding fencing and spring development. Four Year Old Boy Breaks Arm At Medford Event

Four year old son of Mrs Jesse Laird in the care of Mrs Melvin Pointer of Gravelford fractured his right arm while running downhill at the RNA convention in Medford. The incident occurred Monday with the break just below the elbow and was treated by Dr R H Masteet on Wednesday morning before the boy was brought back to Myrtle Point.
