A drainage tube was placed in his side and an operation followed in hopes of relieving a long standing trouble. China Flats CCC Fire Training Taught at Camp Powers

Camp Chins Flats conducted an eight day orientation and fire training school for new enrollees. Instructors covered small fires power pumps and tool use while camp personnel explained quarters meals and camp routine. The model fire camp operated near Port rd Experimental Forest with a full setup and all men remained on site overnight.
