Death of Robert Warne Prompts Walla Walla Funeral Trip
Word arrived from Walla Walla Washington that Robert Warne nine teen years old son of Mrs Ernest Warner former resident of the city died after several weeks illness in a hospital. The father had died last October leaving only Mrs Warner and one daughter. Mr and Mr Lloyd Warner Ted Johnson and Roy Shull left immediately for Walla Walla to attend the funeral.

At the state Christian Endeavor convention in Salem, the executive committee chose to bring the 1930 convention to Marshfield. Miss Ruth Matthews Dies After Long Illness
Ruth Matthews sister of Mrs Archie Bushnell of this city died last Thursday night at the Bushnell home after months of illness. She was born in Ereston Oregon near Looking Glass and had worked for Giles and Désent attorneys and at Jack and Jill. A Ce squille high school graduate aged twenty five, she leaves one sister and eight brothers. Services were held Tuesday in Roseburg with burial at Looking Glass.

Morse Out of Jail After Pleading Guilty
