Coos County Fair Honors Diamond Jubilee Theme
The Coos County Fair plans its 50th anniversary with the Diamond Jubilee theme chosen by a public contest won by Mrs Charles Quigley of Coquille. Entertainment includes two entertaining brothers and Susan Raye. Directors approved daily self contained shows and budget plans to improve concession areas. The fair received an American flag and flag pole from the American War Mothers presented by Clarice E. Jones.

Environmental committee named for Bay Area EPA advisory panel
