Sunday wreck demolishes automobile in Norway incident
One car total loss and another slightly damaged after a wreck on the straight of way north of the Denison home in Norway about 10 o'clock Sunday night. Warren Devoe of Myrtle Point collided with Ernest Buchtmann of Coquille driving a light sedan. Passengers in both cars suffered injuries. Buchtmann was later convicted of reckless driving in Coquille. The incident led to cautions about beer in the rear of the Buchtmann car prior to the crash.

Faculty Presents Successful Play at Myrtle Point High
The Myrtle Point High School faculty staged a well received play in the school auditorium last Friday with a matinee the previous Thursday. Net proceeds about 83 dollars go to athletic debts, mainly football uniforms and equipment. Cast members received no special praise as a whole, but L P Linn led the comedy with slapstick humor.
