City council on Monday evening approved a new refuse disposal rate schedule for franchise holder Elvin Murray. Monthly service for one can rises to 175 dollars with weekly pickup. two cans and one stop cost 3 dollars. one can two stops per week 3.50. two cans two stops up to 1 dollar. Commercial daily service up from 0.25 to 0.20 per day. Truckload lots stay at 16 dollars and under 12 dollars for less than truckloads per hour.

Twirlers Win High Honors at McMinnville Meet
Nancy Wyrick Jane McCue Gayle Walton and Sherry Lind led a senior team to trophies in the USTA Baton Twirling competition in McMinnville. McCue won first in the trick meet.
