Building New Motor Boat by Young Oak Rackleff
Owen Rackleff, whose motor boat was wrecked on a North Fork trip last winter, has nearly completed a new craft using the salvaged engine. The faster boat features a 43 inch beam, 22 feet in length, and was built largely by Owen at odd times. He plans to launch the new boat next Tuesday.

Fine Fruit Specimens Shown At Headquarters
H. F. Massey of the South Fork brought notable fruit to headquarters on Tuesday. The Baldwin apple measured thirteen and a quarter inches in circumference, the largest seen. Pears of an unknown late variety were large and regular in shape, with no infections observed.
