Injured Logger Struck by Cable at Aasen Camp
Elmer Shull, a logging camp employee on the North Fork, suffered a severe injury last Friday morning when a cable slipped. The line struck him, breaking his right arm below the elbow and injuring his lip and teeth. Dr. L L. G. Johnson treated him in town.

J Meade of this city built a picuro case from selected myrtle for a piano sent from a factory he formerly worked at. The cabinet work impressed many but time proved the piece dependable and tone improving with age. The natural case darkens to a richer shade and the maker believes twenty years will greatly increase its value. He notes a future opening for myrtle picture manufacturing as supplies are abundant now but will exhaust in time.

Good Road News From County Surveyor on Bridge Road
County Surveyor Gould reports a two per cent maximum grade for the Bridge to county line stretch and says the new route will be about a quarter mile shorter than the old road. Work will proceed this season but completion is unlikely before fall rains.
