Murder Trial in Marshfield Bar Case Before Coquille Jury
Holland Anderson of Marshfield faces murder charges for the shooting of Mrs. E. S. Gordon on a Marshfield wharf. A jury was drawn and the trial has moved to the jury with defense contending self defense. Prosecution led by Broom and L A Liljeqvist presented closing arguments as the state prepares its final address. Judge Hamilton presides as other cases await the September term.
