Cheese Producers Form Coos and Curry County Association

Members and directors of the Coos and Curry County Cheese Association met to arrange for an inspector and salesman to standardize output across member factories. Guy Ford of Tillamook was secured as inspector and Claud H. Giles as salesman, aiming to lift prices and pool factory supplies for savings to dairymen in Coos and Curry counties.

Myrtle Point Boys Fall To Bandon High In Close Game

The Myrtle Point High School team was defeated by Bandon High School 23 to 21 in front of the largest crowd of the season. Notable players included Nosler and Schriefer for Myrtle Point and McNair and Webb for Bandon. Myrtle Point travels to Bay tomorrow to face Marshfield and North Bend on Saturday.

Cheese Shipment From Myrtle Point Section To New York

The first carload of cheese shipped directly from the Myrtle Point Section to the New York market went forward over the S P Lines Tuesday. The shipment was killed by Andrew Christensen of Sugar Loaf Creameries and included 451 cases with a gross weight over 37 000 pounds and about seventeen tons of cheese.
