John L Wagner known as Uncle John died yesterday afternoon at his home near the city of Powers after an illness of La Grippe. He was sixty nine years old and had lived in Oregon since 1872. Funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 1:00 PM. Previously owner and resident of the launch tow, he had long ties to the Powers area.
