Death of Mrs. C Bacon Recalls Family Tragedies
Mrs. C Bacon died at 8 00 am Tuesday January 2 1912 at her daughter Mrs E E Farber s home in this city after a long illness She was born Clara Victora Grove September 5 1841 in Huron Ohio She married Philo Northup in 1865 and Clark Bacon in 1873 The family moved through Iowa South Dakota Nebraska and Oregon She leaves six children Orley William Edward and Mrs E E Farber plus four more grandchildren and fourteen grandchildren in all Funeral services were held at the Brethren church at 10 00 am Wednesday led by Rev Thos Barklow.
