Release of Fred Hoffman from Salem Penitentiary
Fred Hoffman who served three years and six months of a five year arson sentence has been released. He left prison December 22 and traveled from Roseburg earlier this week. His family worries he may seek revenge and have sent for a constable while Hoffman plans to head toward the old home vicinity to gauge his intentions.
