Alex F Grishaber of Bridge survives with six grandchildren and one great grandchild. An invalid for twelve years she could not leave the Big Creek home. She joined the Methodist church at fourteen and stayed a member until death. Funeral held at home last Tuesday afternoon with Rev Thos Barklow presiding.

Death of Mrs Grishaber 77 in Bridge Oregon
Mrs. Geo F Grishaber died at her son Alex Grihaber’s home near Bridge Oregon on February 16 1914 at age 77. Born February 8 1837 in Tennessee she moved to Missouri in 1852 married Geo F Grishaber in 1860 and later lived in Lane County Oregon before moving to California and returning to Bridge. The couple had six children including Mrs A E Stockford of Williams California.

Death of James Hayes in Phoenix after paralysis
Mrs. John Snyder, Sr. reports the death of her brother James Hayes in Phoenix, Arizona, on February 6 from paralysis. He suffered a paralytic stroke on December 15 and declined. Hayes lived in Coos county at various towns, moved to Long Beach then Arizona, and was about 59. He is survived by his wife and two children, plus several relatives including John Hays of North Bend and Mrs. Jenkins of Hoquiam.

Ruby Esther Randlemann born July 27 1892 at Norway Coos County Oregon died February 12 1914 at her mother Sarah Randlemann’s home in Bandon Oregon aged 21 years 6 months 15 days. She married Earl Chisholm at Myrtle Point August 19 1910. Survived by husband sister Brandenabed and many relatives. Funeral services led by Rev Thos Barklow at Coquille undertakers were held 1 30 last Friday afternoon with interment at Masonic Cemetery near Coquille. A large group from Myrtle Point Bandon and Coquille attended.
