Death of Mrs. B. M. Greene in Myrtle Point
Mrs. CLOTILDA Volkmar Greene died December 22 1908 in Myrtle Point after a short illness from scarlet fever. Born April 27 1862 in Coos county she taught widely in county schools and once led Myrtle Point School. She married B M Greene August 1 1894 and left seven children, a husband, father, four brothers and a sister. Funeral at Presbyterian church conducted by Rev J J Burkhart. burial in Myrtle Point cemetery. The family receives widespread sympathy.

Railroad to Start Work Near Scottsburg
