Philip A. Decker aged 79 years 6 months 18 days died at his son Arthur Decker’s home in the city Monday at 1 am. Funeral at Brethren church Monday at 2 pm Rev Thos Barklow officiating. Interment Myrtle Point cemetery. Early Brethren church member since 1873. Coos county pioneer moving to Coquille valley in 1867. Married three times Rebecca Braden in 1857 and Sarah D Lester in 1897. Four children from first marriage eleven from second. Sincere mourning among friends in this vicinity.
