Coquille December 17 Deputy Sheriff W C Laird brought Rollin Edmunds back to jail from Roseburg He had been convicted of forgery January 12 and paroled immediately by the court A few days earlier he was accused of stealing a watch money and valuables from Miss Loleta Allen at Myrtle Point He fled for Roseburg and was apprehended there on Sunday night and held until Laird arrived on Tuesday

Narrow Escape As Tree Falls On Bowman Tent
A 200 foot long tree crushed the Bowman family tent home killing belongings and narrowly sparing Mr and Mrs Bowman and their children.
