Salem Ore December 25 Slightly less than 40 percent of the autos in Oregon are registered from Multnomah county with a little over 7 percent from Marion and others following. More than 15000 owners still lack licenses for next year and a rush of applications is expected before the year ends.
About 300 Oregon schools provide work above eighth grade per State Superintendent Churchill. Of 1100 secondary teachers, 70 percent hold college or university degrees, many from technical or normal schools. The University of Oregon accounts for 135 high school graduates.
