Honored Citizen Levi E. Robbins Dies in Coos County
Levi Emery Robbins died at his South Fork Coquille home on July 30, 1908 at age 65 11 15. Born August 14 1848 in Norridgewock Maine he worked as teamster lumberman and mill manager before settling in Coos County Oregon with his family in 1885. He married Sara Helen Gould in 1880 and had a pioneer background with early western settlements.

Carl L Albrecht of Marshfield promoted the upcoming fifteenth annual Southern Oregon District Agricultural show at Marshfield August 26 27 28 29. The fair promises a strong racing program and record purses. Marshfield promoters seek top exhibits from Coos County farms and Myrtle Point area.
