Woman repels panther at Ten Mile ranch with a club
Mrs. W. J. Cole faced a large panther in the Cole ranch hen house at Ten Mile. She struck the animal with a nearby club, it fell, and she continued striking until it was dead. She escaped with a torn dress and will claim a $16 bounty for the panther.
