Center Street Fire Department led by Chief Robert Olsen quickly controlled a roof fire at Mrs Hoover's residence caused by a chimney spark. Murray Womans Club Retains Officers

At a March 15 meeting the Murray Womans Club retained Mrs. Hugh Ward as president and elected new officers including Mrs. George Gordon recording secretary, Mrs. H. M. Sheranian corresponding secretary, Mrs. Arthur Short treasurer, and program committeemen Mrs. James Voxe Mrs. Spencer Reed and Mr. Howard Housknechlet.
