Death of Lon L Goessman 68 of Ina
Lon L. Goessman aged 68 of Ina died of a heart attack at his home. Funeral services are set for Sunday at 2 p.m. at Rescue Church northeast of Whittington with Rev. Riley Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Kirk cemetery. He was born March 20, 1888 in Franklin County to Douglas and Mary Goessman. He is survived by his wife Jennie Taylor, two sons William of Chicago and Gale of Los Angeles, a daughter Hazel Hicks of Mt. Vernon, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a sister Vella Porter of Lesser. Body to lay in state at Inn Funeral Home until 7 p.m. today.
