Mary A Guthrie Dies at Age 55
Mary Annis Guthrie of 1105 Perkins avenue died at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital at 10 this morning aged 55 years nine months and 24 days. Born February 20 1893 in Posey Indiana she was the daughter of Marcus A Randolph and Polly Wade. She married Frank C Guthrie in November 1914 and is survived by her husband two sons Wilbur C Guthrie Amarillo Texas and Edwin M Guthrie Mt. Vernon three sisters two brothers and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were in complete today and body was taken to Myers Chapel.

Three Injured in 21st St Crash
In the 800 block of south 21st Street at 7:15 last night two cars collided injuring three people. Injured were Mrs. Victor Hagestad Gene Ayers 19 of RFD 1 and Mr Vernon with scalp lacerations and bruises Norman Henson of 1016 S 23rd street with bruises and abrasions. Mrs Hagestad treated at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital remained a patient. Cars were driven by Ayers and Hagestad. Hagestad had just left home to return five books to the public library. Her husband heard the crash. Her wrist watch was knocked off but band stayed on. Only one library book found. others bystanders possibly picked up.
