Community gossip and Thanksgiving plans fill the Mt Prospect column as residents share birthdays showers and meals with relatives neighbors and friends. Local gatherings include dinners in Chicago Rockford Palatine and Des Plaines with many families spending Thanksgiving with kin and hosting friends.
Mr and Mrs Martin Christen sen attended their sister's twentieth wedding anniversary Saturday evening in Chicago.
Friday evening gathering with Miss Carrie Katz and Mr Fred die Haas at the home of Mr and Mrs Herbert Lesch. The infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Louie Oehlerking christened Delores Clara Sunday morning at St Pauls church.
The evening danco club met last Tuesday evening with Mrs Beiers dorf. A delightful lunch was served and pretty prizes awarded. Mr and Mrs M Christensen had as guests Sunday Mr Christensen s mother, brother and sister and husband.
The St Pauls church youth group met in the school auditorium Monday for a debate on Lim berger cheese and sauerkraut. Billy Jean Gehringer had a birthday with four lit candles on the cake. Mr Wallentin recently recovered from a short illness. Janet Lahtinen injured her right arm in a wringer but is recovering. Milwaukee Concordia college boys return home for Thanksgiving holidays.
Lawrence Rateike and Herbert Grandt performed Tuesday evening at the Wheeling public school achievement club meeting.
