The violin and piano pupils of Miss Nora Lockwood of Mr Pleasant were presented in recital at Miss Lockwood's home on Saturday June 19 at 2 80 o clock to parents and friends. Howard A Lee Dies After Long Illness at Dexter Home
Howard A. Lee born January 8 1889 in Mt Pleasant died Sunday June 18 at his Dexter home after two years illness. He studied music early and became a noted musician. In 1912 he moved to New York to perform in theatres and served as a bandmaster in World War I at Camp Upton. He played with orchestras for Watertown Opera houses and married Ruth Moore in June 1918. He is survived by his parents two children one sister and a brother.
