Mrs. Morrow of Saginaw visits Miss Mary Dow. dances hosted by Central Normal Women’s League. many relatives and guests travel between Detroit Lansing Muskegon and Saginaw for visits and reunions. Births, funerals, and church gatherings mark a busy week in the region.
Mrs A Rahl and her son Gerald joined the Arthur MacDonald family for Sunday. Chester Gates hosted Lou Gaffner and family of Williamston and John Townsend and family of Alma. Alma Rahl recently stayed with Alva Rahl in Mr Pleasant. Herbert Bailey hosted H Bailey and A D Rahl of Mr Pleasant for dinner. Trank Diehl hosted his brother Byron Diehl and family of Muir. A M Van Lieu and family visited Mrs Irad Struble in Shepherd.
East Lincoln residents Fred Robinsor and Walter Brown with family spent Sunday at Crystal Lake. Clarence Ladety of Lansing visited the Lou Hauns' home. Jim Moves and Perry Clifton hosted Sunday gatherings at Harold Austin and Bass Lake. Walter O CONners shows a new coach and Helen Bowman visited Lansing for a week. Floyd Burgess and family stayed at Alyan Jackson’s Gilmore home. Eugene Bland, visiting Perry Clifton, returned to Detroit after a month, and others spent Sunday evening at Bass Lake.
Vernon City residents hosted and visited relatives over the weekend and past week. Ralph Stevens and Fred Verette took Verette's father to Bay City hospital on Monday. Anton Billgren and family of Alma and Raymond Reese and family of Rosebush visited John Ott and Mac Maitland families. Wellington Akey returned home with a visit from his relatives. William Moore came home from the University Hospital in Ann Arbor and is improving. Wesley Snider spent Monday in Midland with local connections. Henry Sines and daughter Josephine hosted Elvis Denton and family in South Vernon. Edward Mussell of Rosebush visited Saturday night and Sunday with local hosts.

Clarence Baughn 24 of Remus and Lillian Fitzpatrick 18 of Remus. James Orcutt 56 of Mt. Pleasant and Anna Smith 44 of Mt. Pleasant secured marriage licenses.
The birthday circle met at Mrs. John Peterson's home last Wednesday afternoon to honor her birthday. A 6 o'clock pot luck supper featured a centerpiece of two large birthday cakes with sixty candles and Mrs. Peterson received silverware as a keepsake.
At the annual school meeting on Monday night Guy Rolson was re elected. Mrs Farrand visited her daughter Mrs Rowatt and Taylor met her new grandson born Tuesday July 13. Mr and Mrs Roy Calkins were called to Grand Rapids Thursday by the serious illness of Roy’s wife.
Lucious Calkins drove with them Mrs Walcutt of Six Lakes and her daughter and the Tatter's husband of Chicago visited Mrs D Walcutt on Thursday. Mr and Mrs Farrand and son Truman and Mr and Mrs Robson and son Keith spent Sunday at White Fish Lake.
