East Town P T A Meets as Palbearers Union Anniversary
The P T A held a Sunday meeting with Mrs. M L Gilbert president in charge. The Palbearers Union marked its thirteenth anniversary in Sanford with a mixed crowd and a Mrs. Jessie ceremony mistress. Bro Fred Price and Bro Ike Dawson are reported ill. The Loving Home Band gathered at the McClendon home Tuesday. Mamie Lee Gilbert caught a 24 inch bass weighing 5 1/2 pounds in Lake Yale for two meals.

Johanna Carolina Munson a native of Sweden died aged in. she came to the area two years ago. Survived by husband one sister Mrs C A Olson Shrub Oak NY three brothers Martin Munson New York Conn and Herman Munson Fort Lauderdale and a niece Miss Ida Olson New York. Funeral services were held from the Rehbaum funeral parlor Saturday afternoon October 26 with Rev George Gibson officiating. Burial was in Forest Cemetery. Sunshine Club members served as pallbearers.
