SGT JAMES RUTHERFORD KILLED IN PLANE CRASH
Staff Sgt. James F. Rutherford Jr., 21, of Leesburg, died in a training plane crash near Lubbock Texas on Thursday October 22. The body was recovered at 6 pm and funeral services were held October 28 at the First Baptist Church Leesburg with burial at Lone Oak Cemetery. He is survived by wife Jeanne Rutherford son James Franklin Rutherford II and several family members.
