Services at St none Church began with Sunday School at 11. Bennie Cody and Edward Williams return home from the Pacific and Boston. The cleanup meeting Tuesday night drew anticipation. Mrs Carrie A Beebe 7 died at home in Flint after a nearly five year illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday with Ralph Dy Kearns officiating. Burial was in Flint Cemetery Genesee County Michigan. She was born March 25 in Genesee County to Timothy and unnamed Allen and lived in Flint all her life. She married Wilbur J Beebe March 18 1890 in Whigville. The Beebes were winter residents of Mount Dora and marked their fifth wedding anniversary there March 18 1940. Surviving are her husband one daughter Mrs James W Grills two grandchildren Jane E Grills Robert James Grills and two brothers Charles E Allen and Homer H Allen of Flint.
Mr. Frank A. Brando of Tangerine died unexpectedly in the late afternoon following an attack. He lived in Tangerine twenty years and is survived by his sister Mrs. Anna Emerson of Lunenburg. His wife died five years ago. Funeral services were held Monday at the Rehbaum Friend Parlor with burial in West Chazy New York.
Dr Morgan B Horton 69 died Saturday October 6 at his New Canaan home on White Oak Shade Road. A dentist in New York City before retiring last winter he was a frequent Mount Dora visitor staying with his parents late winter residents on Ninth avenue. Survived by widow Susan Horton and two daughters Rhoda Toa and sister Mrs James Rae of New Canaan reported he had a plane reservation for November 7 to Florida to spend winter with her at Liberty Street home.

Miss Adams to open her Sorrento home for the season. Mrs. Cheney and Mrs. Cowart reconnect after school days. Ralph and Mary Battle host Iris Battle Martin and Miss Fryer in Jacksonville. Lillian Wiedmann visiting from home to aid at Children’s Hospital in Umatilla. Cowarts and Aleen visit Sanford on Sunday.

Mrs. Hardman of Loddonia Missouri and her daughter Mrs. Perry of Mount Dora called on Sorrento friends recently. The Hardman family long resided in Sorrento and have many local friends. Mrs. Bertie Futral of Jacksonville also participated in the visit.
