Vehicle Fire Destroys 1969 VW Van in Mount Dora
The Mount Dora Fire Department responded to a 9:45 p.m. call on N Donnelly Street near US 441 to extinguish an engine fire in a 1969 Volkswagen van driven by Ira Eugene Russell of Eustis. The van was a total loss. Russell was not injured but lost clothing stored in the vehicle. Traffic on N Donnelly was halted for over 15 minutes.
