Hungarian restaurant opens in Sylvan Shores Mount Dora
Mount Dora welcomes the only full fledged Hungarian restaurant in central Florida operated by Victor and Helen Hazy and their three children who fled Hungary in 1956. The menu offers goulash chicken paprika stuffed cabbage Halaszle and other native dishes alongside German and American options. The eatery sits off Old 441 on Morningside Drive opposite the Medical Arts Center. A second annual Festival of Christmas Music is planned for Dec 7-8 in the Mount Dora Community Building.
