Mount Dora Temple No 12 Pythian Sisters announce their regular meeting for Monday evening October 14 at Fraternal Hall. Visiting Sisters are warmly invited to attend. The Mount Dora Garden Club plans its first garden group meeting October 10 at 2 30 pm in the Community Building with all interested members urged to attend. The Sunshine Circle of King's Daughters meets at the Community Building Monday evening October 8 at 8 o'clock with hostesses Mesdames Maglath Christie and Stovall.

DAR Chapter Minutes Record 1846-47 Season
The Year Books for the 1846-47 season were distributed and members stood in silence for a minute in honor of the late Mrs. Walter Rush. Minutes of the May 2 meeting in Umatilla were approved as read. The treasurer Mrs. Blake presented her report and it was accepted. The finance committee budget was submitted and accepted. The Regent read state and continental resolutions and the President General magazine note. Six chairmen and one officer reported plans for the year. The November meeting will be in Tavares with Mrs. Lucie K. Miller in charge of the program Conservation and Thanksgiving. Hostesses named.
