Birds at the church window and a cuckoo encounter
A parish scene describes a yellow billed cuckoo striking a church window during services, later recovering after a 30 minute observation. The author notes birds often crash into windows, urges letting stunned birds recover, and remembers birds hit at the church, including a blue jay with a 1961 identification band.
