Bible School Safe Recovered. Youths Charged

Lake County deputies say the August break‑in at the Christian Home and Bible School is solved with several youths under arrest. The stolen cabinet safe was found near State Road 44 east of Eustis. Leonard Russekl and Douglas Williams, both 17 of Umatilla, are held on breaking and entering charges. Kennedy and Berdine, both 17 or 18, are charged with entering without breaking in a related pro shop burglary at Pine Meadows Golf Estates.

Lions Entertain Wives At Ladies Night Film Showing

About a hundred Mount Dora Lions Club members wives and guests attended a dinner and a colored travel film Swiss on White at the Community Building. The film showcased the Swiss Alps in April and skiing adventures led by a guide in rugged terrain.

Mayor Jesse Willmott announces the annual Florida Lions Foundation for Blind Fund Drive in Mount Dora.
