Pilot Captain Je es Boxell Returns Home After War Service

Dayton Ohio born Captain J es Boxell released from active duty November 15 at Wright Field Ohio after six months overseas. He trained as aviation cadet in 1944 and flew C 54 cargo and passenger missions to Alaska from Great Falls Army Air Base. He was shot down over Germany then escaped to Yugoslavia with Tito's Partisans and led a crew to allied control. He is the son of Mrs Lois Boxell and has seven decorations with no immediate civilian plans.

Dove runs Nov 20 to Jan 18 with daily hunting until Nov 30 then limited days. Daily hours are 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes before sunset.
