A state-wide motorcade of six sections will travel to Jacksonville on November 17 bringing delegations from all sections for the fifteenth semi annual beautification conference in the Chamber of Commerce auditorium on November 18. Mrs. W. S. Jennings says the response promises a large, concerted movement with every woman's club, chamber and civic group urged to attend and answer the conference roll call. The six sections will originate at Tallahassee, Leesburg, Tampa, Plant City, Orlando, and New Smyrna and converge in Jacksonville.

Lake County vegetable and watermelon growers plan a county meeting at the county courthouse in Tavares on Tuesday night November 18 at 8 00 to discuss forming a county wide growers association. The aim is to join with the Federal Farm Board and align with the State Vegetable Growers Association to create a Central Florida Agricultural Credit Corporation and include Lake County.
Growers of various vegetable crops including watermelons and Big Stem Jersey Sweet Potatoes advocate for broader cultivation and diversified crops. The note highlights focus on crop variety and market flexibility for farmers.
All day sewing is planned in the parlors of the Community church on Tuesday November 18 for the Children s Home Society children in the Jacksonville home. Attendees are urged to come and help and to bring their own sandwiches for lunch.
