Memorial Day Union Service Draws Large Attendance

A Memorial Day service Sunday morning at the Community Auditorium drew a large crowd. Three churches combined to host the event with Rev Bouterse Elder and Spencer speaking. W M Ferris sang The Lone Grave and the M E quartet performed Brave Hearts Sleep On. Junior White played Jerusalem on trombone. The event was sponsored by the Legion Post with Civil War Veterans Auxiliary and Boy and Girl Scouts in attendance.
