The Tourist Club of Mount Dora closes its 1936-37 season with a final Tuesday program by the Adairs of Orlando. Gertrude Crosby Adair, a longtime star, will perform as reader and soprano, followed by Mr. Adair’s illustrated talk on his experiences salmon fishing in Newfoundland.

Tremain Office Moves to New Donnelly Location

L. R. Tremain moves his business headquarters on April first from 419 Donnelly Avenue to 443 Donnelly, next to the First National Bank, in a renovated office with display windows for Florida Gas appliances. Pace Opens Taxation Focused Public Accounting Office

Murl E. Pace former Lake County Tax Assessor has opened an accounting office in the Telephone Building at Tavares. The practice concentrates on Federal, State, county and municipal tax problems and bond debt surveys. Pace holds a Florida accounting license and is admitted to the Federal Board of Tax Appeals, with prior roles including two-term president of the Florida Association of Tax Assessors.

Big Turnip Grows in Bay Head Garden

Mr. B. R. Paschall displayed a unusually large white and egg turnip in his window. Weighing about 3% pounds, the vegetable came from his garden near Hudson Hill. He kept it growing to see its progress as the season yielded many fine vegetables.
