BPW Club Hosts Child Abuse Talk in Mount Dora
Mount Dora BPW Club will hold a 6 00 p m meeting at the Community Building with Nell Anderson Lake County Supervisor of Children and Family Services in charge. Rhea McGaughey and George Freeman will discuss foster care and child abuse. New officers to be elected. Installations planned for April. Benefit fashion show at Lakeside Inn aids youth concerts
The Mount Dora community hosts a March 31 luncheon fashion show at Lakeside Inn by the Women's Committee of the Florida Symphony. Designer gowns jewel furs and over 500000 in jewels from Mayor's Jewelers will be displayed during a social hour at 11 30 a.m. Reservations due March 24 with proceeds aimed at funding youth concerts and the event has raised about half of a 2000 goal.
