Eugene Channel Died February 27 Funeral Saturday
Eugene Esper Channell aged 66 died February 27 after a heart attack. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Zeller Kennedy and Hamlin Funeral Home in Eustis with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. He lived in Mount Dora for 10 years and was a retired fire chief of Conway Florida. He leaves a wife Ruth and seven grandchildren among a large family.

Missionary Rev Dottson Mills To Speak At First Baptist
The Rev Dottson Mills missionary to Argentina will conclude the Week of Prayer at First Baptist with talks Saturday and Sunday. A Woman's Mission Union and Youth Rally meet Saturday at 7 30 p m with Mills showing mission pictures and lecturing. He speaks at Sunday morning worship as well. Mills oversees 16 churches and 20 missions in evangelism and training in the greater Buenos Aires area and serves as public relations director for Argentine Baptist Missions. He studied at Stetson and Southern Baptist Seminary and learned Spanish in Costa Rica after 1956 appointment to the Foreign Mission Board.

Rudolf Vontobel a Stamford resident died at his Mount Dora Florida winter home age 61. He led Woodside Laundry Inc. and served in multiple industry and civic groups. Survived by wife Jeanette, a son and daughter, six grandchildren and multiple siblings. Funeral arrangements were handled by Bouton and Reynolds in Stamford.
