He made the honor roll, scored 384 on the State Twelfth Grade Testing Program, placed third in a city essay contest and won a Ten Dollar Gift Certificate. He attended a press testimonial dinner at the Holiday Inn and plans to major in Biology at the University of Florida. He is the son of Mrs. Lavarn Clayton and Mack Clayton.

W L Storey Mount Dora police chief filed for constable 20th District. A Crippled Children’s Home benefit bridge at Lakeside Inn drew crowds. The Baptist Church ladies supplied cookies for the Service Men’s Club in February. Art League held its annual dinner. American Legion Sixth District planned a constitutional Oratorical Contest at the Methodist Church.
