Florida Telephone donated materials and 9000 feet of wire for phones placed at the waterfront, director's office, ranger station, staff building, dining hall, and trading post over three weekends. Elmer Cook assisted under scoutmaster Thurmond Dodson who also serves as a maintenance man for the company.
