Benefit barbecue boosts Horton Fund
Proceeds from a Mount Dora Jaycees benefit barbecue for Glen Horton Jr. were turned over to the Bank of Mount Dora, fund trustee, totaling 939.49 dollars. The fundraiser supports medical expenses after a September 1972 swimming accident left him paralyzed and undergoing ongoing therapy in Orlando. Donations remain welcome at the Bank of Mount Dora.
