Mount Dora Council to open bids for East Town paving
Mount Dora City Council voted to accept bids for paving three blocks of dirt road in East Town. Bids will be opened at the first or second July meeting. The move followed Councilman Al Rehbaum III’s report that preliminary studies are complete. Streets Highland from Lincoln to Grant and Florida from Highland to Johns are scheduled for paving. A Ditch Witch Trench Company bid of 5650.00 for a ditch cleaning machine was accepted. Three insurance bids were sent to committee for study. A zoning variance for a home beauty shop at Ilth and Tremain was denied after neighbor objections.
