Vehicle Collides With City Hall Steps
A two car crash near temporary City Hall last week involved George W. Wackwitz at 1117 Donnelly Street and Grace Golding Wells of Overlook Drive. Wells was charged with failing to keep her vehicle under control after her car, parked on the west side of Alexander Street, started and darted into Wackwitz’s vehicle, which had been parked and pushed up the steps into the building.

Nine traffic cases heard in City Court Monday. Bonds forfeited total $20 while fines amounted to $25.
Lake County Leads 1962 63 Citrus and Agribusiness Output
Lake County ranked first in Florida in 1962 63 for number of early and mid season bearing trees and for acreage of marcotts satsumas temples and tangelos. Total farm and livestock value reached 37.6 million dollars with an agribusiness value around 65.2 million. Pre freeze acreage stood at 139 000 with 100 000 bearing. Lake County is Florida second largest citrus producer led by 11 300 000 orange boxes 3 723 000 grapefruit boxes 402 000 tangerine boxes and an estimated 175 000 tangelo boxes totaling 15.6 million boxes. Prices fell after the December 1962 freeze but cooperatives may raise returns. The county supports packing houses concentrate plants and juice facilities and hosts diverse crops including sweet corn celery and peppers along with dairy beef poultry and ornamental industries.
